Christopher G. Hayden, Hayden Stone PLLC, Patent Attorney

In September 2010 I re-located the office to Alexandria VA.  Please see the new contact information provided below.  I provide patent law services including patent drafting, domestic and foreign patent prosecution, non-infringement and invalidity opinions, litigation support, and strategic counseling, at about half the hourly rate charged by large law firms.  I have degrees in Law (J.D. from the U. of Houston Law Center, cum laude), in Chemical Engineering (B.S. from the U. of Houston, magna cum laude), and in Chemistry (B.S. from the U. of Illinois).  I spent 15 years in research and 10 years as a patent attorney at several large law firms.  I started Hayden Stone PLLC in September of 2006 for two reasons - to cut my billing rate and to be able to provide services to clients that I could not get past conflicts at my previous employer.  I am admitted in Texas, the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

I would be happy to receive an inquiry from you.  However, I cannot agree to represent you until determining that there are no conflicts with existing clients. Accordingly, in an initial inquiry please do not provide any information that is confidential.  That said, you can reach me by email at chayden@haydenstonepllc.com, by phone at 571-312-3013, or by regular mail at Hayden Stone PLLC, 2212 Mt Vernon Ave, Suite 5, Alexandria VA 22301.

In addition to being a patent attorney, I am also an inventor.  Listed below are my issued patents and pending applications:
USP 7427361 Particulate or particle-bound chelating agents;
